Neural network, trained for automatic identification of C. elegans nematodes, which is capable to recognize worms on the surface of agar in the wells of the NemaBot, proves excellent performance in first synthetic tests. While further work is required for its industrialization, this looks already promising for building the Kaplan-Meier lifespan estimation curve.
